Phone under warranty. One black dot appeared on the left hinge about 10 days ago. Now there are 3. The phone is in perfect condition otherwise. This is a KNOWN issue from previous models that they haven’t fixed. Buyers beware. Google it. Why would you risk $1,000 for a phone with known un repairable issues?

You will get a better review from me on all platforms when you fix the auto brightness feature. I drive and work nights. At exactly 11:58 pl every night my phone auto brightness turns off and it goes to 50% brightness. This makes it so I can't use my maps on the way home anymore. After a couple of months of use I enjoy using the phone, it has a solid quality feel. Just love the compactness. Only complaint is the trade in process , this is the second time I have used the Samsung trade in but both times my trade in was rejected which makes me wonder how honest the process is. My Note 10 was rejected because it did not boot correctly which is strange as I was using the phone till the day after I got my Flip with no issues and I powered off my note 10 every night for 3 years with no boot issues in the morning. Really bad customer service from samsung for service of z flip 5. Phone started to leave edges after few months of use, after some time it sarted to hang a lot,eventually inner screen stopped responding.called customer. Service couple of times no solution just give unclear solutions then I had to call back again and on last call i explained the problem from start explained everything again and without giving solution the agent just hung up.not at all accepted from a brand like samsung to a loyal customer for years now.
