Although mine is an Older Gen (G95SC) with older panel tech, after 3 years I have yet to see any kind of degradation to my OLED panel, and I use my PC on it most of the time, gaming and some productivity. But still going strong.
I received the monitor late November, and I have yet to be able to turn it on once! I have been a long time samsung user and decided I wanted the 49' odyssey monitor. When I received it I very excitedly set it up and went to plug in all the cables. Only to then realize the cables were broken straight out of the box! A thousand dollar monitor that I couldn't even use until I received a replacement cable from customer support. Only to then realize I RECEIVED THE WRONG CABLE! Now since it has been over 2 months since I receive...

I’ve owned this G95D for 3 or 4 months now. STAY AWAY FROM THIS. It’s known to have a ton of glitches and faults, my monitor flickers white static boxes everywhere in the screen every 15 minutes to an hour. Given Samsungs poor customer service, I regret ever spending $2000 on this crap.

This is a fantastic monitor for productivity. While I don't use it for gaming, as a software engineer and video content editor, I truly appreciate its high resolution and refresh rate, particularly when editing 4K content. The curvature is more subtle than my previous 49-inch monitor, which conveniently frees up more desk space in front. The included remote is very handy; however, I wish it had a dedicated KVM-style button to switch between inputs. I have both my personal and work PCs connected, and switching between them ...
This is the best monitor I’ve ever owned. I’ve had zero issues with it — it’s a beast right out of the box, loaded with every bell and whistle you’d expect from a 2026 flagship. Just make sure you have a strong PC setup to fully utilize it. I’m running a i9‑4900K Zotac 4080 RTX Super, Dark Hero motherboard, SSD storage, 64GB of RAM, Lian‑Li water cooling, Strimer Plus V2 12-pin and 24-pin Lian Li RGB - SL-INF - Fans, Lian Li EVO XL case, This monitor pairs perfectly with that level of hardware, especially when runni...
I have no idea where to start with this review, because there is so many great things to say. Let's first address the size at 49" i love the fact that I can see and read it without my glasses. I adore the curvature of the screen as on my desk I feel as it wraps me putting me directly into the screen. Although it's a gaming computer I use it mainly for crafts but it's a life savor as with the crispness of the picture you clearly see every detail. I feel most importantly that this is a must buy item as it can double as a tv...
The Samsung 49-inch G9 DQHD Gaming Monitor is an exceptional choice for gaming enthusiasts looking for an immersive experience. Its 49-inch ultra-wide curved screen (1800R) and dual QHD resolution (5120x1440) are designed to provide a more expansive field of view, making it feel as if you’re surrounded by the game world. Here’s why it’s worth the investment, particularly in terms of picture clarity and black levels. The Samsung 49-inch G9 DQHD Gaming Monitor is a powerhouse for gamers who want superior picture quality, imm...
