When you use Smart Switch to move to a new device, it copies your apps, layouts and credentials, but it can't copy your private email database or custom subfolders. Not to worry, as these are safely stored with your email provider and can be synced over.
Open the Samsung Email app > Tap the three horizontal lines (Menu) in the top-left corner > Settings icon (gear symbol) > Tap on your specific email account > Email sync period > Change this to 'All time'. If you're using a different email app, the steps may be slightly different. The main attraction was the camera! It replaces a Samsung of a lesser spec 8 years old. The camera is a little heavier but sits comfortably as I type. The photos are clear and bright and the AI means that I can have a little fun with them. It's very responsive and it was easy to set up I charge mostly at night but it's quick and lasts well. The color is great and the camera slim. I have added protective covers for comfort and durability. I'm very happy

Rubbish, for some unknown reason Samsung have removed the micro Sd card slot from all it's new phones. I didn't realise until I had already opened it otherwise it would have gone back ! Won't be buying a Samsung phone in the future unless they reverse this.

I bought this phone nearly a month ago. I have found the screen sharp bright and clear with very good sound quality. The performance is very fast at loading web pages. The camera is great with very clear pictures and great colour and you can zoom in for a closer photo. I bought this phone a week ago. It looks to be a good all rounder. The camera is versatile, the screen is clear and bright and there is plenty of internal storage. The battery lasts well over a day and the processor is capable of multi tasking. The phone is robust and well made. My only small reservation is the Samsung bloatware which can be a bit intrusive. But it's easy enough to suppress. A good reassuring device.

Samsung s25 fe steer clear!! Face recognition works well for a day or so and then suddenly 9 out of 10 times says face doesn't match.. contactless picks and chooses when it works or wants a verification but then doesn't open any screen or direct to verify. Reported to Samsung help team they advised factory restore to me to back up everything first don't worry don't need a laptop or pc it can be done on the cloud technician back it up to the cloud reset the phone and low and behold it's not restored and my notes are missing back up in a cloud somewhere that after try for 4 days consecutively on the phone to Samsung support and accessing my phone remotely they can't restore it not sure whats happened and cannot escalate further. Ohh and face recognition worked for a day properly now back to glitchibg. Should have stuck with iPhone and explains why this Samsung was on such a good deal at the time

You can restore your Samsung Cloud backups by going to Settings > Accounts and backup > Samsung Cloud > Restore data > Your S25 FE. For your Samsung Notes app, you'll need to ensure that your notes are synced with the cloud. You can do this by opening the Notes app > Tap the 3 lines on the left > Tap the Settings cog > Toggle on Sync with Samsung Cloud. Please note that this must be turned on for any backups to occur.
For the Face recognition, please wipe your front camera lens with a soft, clean microfiber cloth and remove any obstructions which may be covering this area, such as a case or screen protector. Re-register your face by going to Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Screen lock and biometrics > Enter your PIN/password > Face recognition > Remove face data > Register face > Continue.
If you struggle in low light conditions, within the Face recognition sub menu above, please Toggle Brighten the screen to On. This will temporarily light up the display to illuminate your face when using Face recognition. You can use the Add alternative appearance feature to register different looks such as glasses, hats, make-up, or facial hair.
